Action Dashboard

NOTE: The Action Dashboard is available for Engagement, Manager Effectiveness, and Team Effectiveness surveys only; it is not available for Individual Effectiveness or Onboard/Exit surveys.

The Action Dashboard is a set of reports that empower HR administrators with visibility into how managers are engaging with and taking action to address employee feedback. The Action Dashboard makes it easy for organizations to act on employee feedback, manage and review the action-taking process, and decide which areas to invest in across the board. With just one click, companies get a clear organizational focus that empowers managers to act on employee feedback and help employees succeed.

Where to find the Action Dashboard?

To access the Action Dashboard, open the drop-down menu under your survey title, and select "Action Dashboard"

Your Action Dashboard overview

Selecting "Action Dashboard" will take you to an overview of how people are engaging with their reports.

The overview is split into three sections:

1. Progess

The graph in this section represents the percentage of shared reports that have been opened, that have at least one focus question selected, and that have at least one action created. The dashboard highlights where your managers may be struggling in taking action.

By moving your mouse over any of the bar graphs, you can see the number of reports that have completed this step. Clicking on any of the bar graphs will take you to a list of the reports that have completed this step.

You can also navigate to the list of shared reports by clicking "Progress" on the menu bar. On the "Progress" page, you can use the tabs on the top of the page to filter the list of reports, search for a specific report, or click on a report name to see who the report was shared with, who opened it, what questions were selected as focus areas, and what actions were created.

2. Top questions

This section lists the top five questions selected as areas of focus. Hovering your mouse over a question will display the number of reports that contain this question as a focus area. Clicking on a question will take you to a list of reports containing this question as a focus area.

You can also navigate to the complete list of selected questions selected by clicking "Top questions" on the menu bar. On the "Top questions" page, the questions will be ordered by the frequency that they are selected for a report. You can click on any question to see the reports containing this question as a focus area.

3. Top actions

This section lists the top five inspirations used when creating actions. Hovering your mouse over an action will display the full text of the source inspiration.  Clicking on an action will take you to a list of reports containing an action from the source inspiration.

You can also navigate to the complete list of created actions, organized by source inspiration, by clicking "Top actions" on the menu bar. On the "Top actions" page, the inspirations will be ordered by the frequency that they are used for a report. You can click on any inspiration name to see the reports using this inspiration as the source for a new action.

Can I export the Action Dashboard?

To export the Action Dashboard, click "Export" on the overview page. An Excel file will be downloaded to your computer. The file contains a summary of how people are engaging with reports, as well as a detailed list of all of the focus area questions selected and actions created.

We do not currently support export of the Action Dashboard to other formats besides Excel.

Can I filter the dashboard to a specific department or business unit?

While you can use the search bar on the "Progress" page to find a specific report, we currently do not support the ability to filter the dashboard to show only those reports related to a specific department or business unit.  Future iterations will allow you to see the progress for all reports related to a specific department or business unit.

Can I share the Action Dashboard?

We currently do not support the ability to share the Action Dashboard with non-administrators; customers can export the Action Dashboard to Excel to share with others. We are investigating future iterations to allow the Action Dashboard to be shared with non-administrators within the platform.
